Empathy and storytelling: these are the two qualities I firmly believe are needed to tell truly someone’s story. For this reason, my approach to wedding photography goes beyond taking pictures and delivering a gallery of images.
My couples believe that photography is an investment that will help them capture the moments, the memories, and cherish them for the rest of their lives. They love photos that are timeless, not just trendy.
Wedding photography is a piece of the puzzle that plays a huge part into making your wedding day the magical experience that it is. My role is to make sure my service fits perfectly around everything else – not take over, demand more attention, or steal the limelight from you or your other suppliers.
Because of the level of dedication and attention I give my clients, I only take on a very small number of weddings every year. Connecting with my couples and working hard to deliver them an experience, not just a set of pictures, is hugely important to me.
I always arrive a couple of days before the wedding, to avoid any possible stress with delayed flights and familiarise myself with the location.
If you want to make the best of your chosen location, I am including a complimentary couple session either the day before the wedding or the day after, when the stress of the day’s gone. Also, if you are having a small catch-up the night before, I would love to bring my camera there.
That usually is a massive help for people to become acquainted with me, and as a result more comfortable having their photos taken on the wedding.
Yes! Photography is my only job and I am fully insured and own professional equipment.
I also take a very limited amount of weddings per year (15 maximum) and this allows me to give my full attention to my clients.
Finding the right photographer is a bit like finding the right partner, it just has to click!
