B+A=M – A Family Photo Session in Oxford
There is always something special about photographing a new family. In spite of Tolstoy’s belief, all the happy families do look different. It really is an incredible feeling to be able to witness someone’s happiness. Even more when the people you are photographing are returning clients.
Almost three years ago, I had the honour to photograph Blandine and Alex‘s wedding. Still one of my absolute favourite to date. Not only they totally embody the spirit of most of the couples I get to photograph. They are wonderful relaxed people with their values straight and genuinely in love. When I met Blandine, she told me she wanted to simply enjoy the wedding day and the people who flew all over the world to be there.
The session
Fast forward to a few months ago and this beautiful couple just had the lovely Mateo. I was so happy they came back to me asking to photograph him.
Mateo was just the loveliest more chilled kid and loved having his photo taken. We had a blast walking around the centre of Oxford taking lots of natural photos of them. It was so sweet to find them still very much in love and super happy.
