Friendors – Top Berkshire & London Wedding Suppliers
At this point in my wedding photography career, I am getting to know some really lovely wedding suppliers. This really is a beautiful industry and whenever my couples ask me about recommendations, I’m always happy to name some fellow suppliers. So I thought why not to devote a page to some of my favourite ”friendors”? Please note that this list is bound to grow over time and I will try to update it regularly.
Most importantly, the people I tend to recommend are not only incredibly skilled in their fields but also heartful, kind and generous people which is very important to me. Their personalities shine through their beautiful work.
Tiny Sarah’s Cakes
Sarah is a genuine sweetheart and a super-talented French baker based in Reading and specialized in vegan wedding cakes with a quirky unique style. She loves art and combines lots of different influences in her cakes. Sarah is really gifted with golden hands and her creativity is endless. If you want a cake that is a piece of art, she is definitely the lady for you.
Make Up and Hair
Joyce Connor Make Up
Joyce has over 20 years experience in the beauty field. I love how knowledgeable she is about both beauty and skincare and I admire the way she runs her business. Unlike many makeup artists, she has a very diverse portfolio and huge experience with different skin tones. Joyce also has the rare gift of putting people at ease immediately.
Ilenia is both an artist and the most knowledgeable person in her field. Originally from beautiful Sardegna, Italy. Ilenia comes from generations of tailors and have worked in a few different countries, including the US. When people ask me whether I would recommend her, I simply reply you could not find a finer tailor if you tried, it’s simply impossible.
Wedding & Engagement Rings
I personally hired Louise to make my husband’s wedding ring and was impressed by her sweetness and professionalism. Her jewellery is absolutely gorgeous and I love how high end it feels. One of the things I love about Louise’s work is that she pays attention to the ethical aspect too, dealing only with fairtrade and recycled materials.
