2020 is now behind the corner and, like every year, I like to look back at what this year brought to my life and my photography. Here is a quick little teaser of what I consider some of my best work from this year. To see more and learn about my year, keep scrolling.
In terms of wedding photography, this year has been by far my busiest yet and truly one of my favourites. In 2019, I got to photograph some truly amazing couples and work with some really lovely colleagues (too many to list, but you know who you are!).
Words can’t express how thankful I am for being part of such a wonderful industry and getting to work with so many couples. I will be starting 2020 with many lovely weddings already booked and I feel SO privileged for the opportunity to witness and tell your stories. So this is a big thank you to everyone who has and is going to trust me with their wedding photography. It means a lot to me.
Personal Branding Photography
In addition to that, this year, I have also had the opportunity to work with lots of incredible independent small businesses with my other brand Shine your Way (head there for some samples of my personal branding work). This different type of photography has given me a lot and has been a truly exciting experience. It’s been an incredible exercise at storytelling and allowed me to meet some people whom I am now very happy to call friends.
On a personal level, this was a really lovely year: the year our son Leonardo started to come up with his own questions and ideas, something so special as I am sure every other parent can confirm. He has been so curious and chatty lately and I can’t believe he will be going to school next year.
Importantly, 2019 has also marked a very important anniversary for me: a whole decade living away from my country and building a completely different life in two countries (first in the US and later in the UK).
What a journey that has been! Here is to a whole new decade. full of adventures and, of course, photos.
Are you looking for a wedding photographer for next year? I happen to know one!
